The National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position which may become open in the forthcoming 2018 visitor season:
- Temporary Education Guide (rate of salary is € 442.84 p/w before tax)
This is a temporary post based in Wicklow Mountains National Park. Staff will be required to work 39 hours per week, rostered five days over seven, which may include weekends and bank holidays.
The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. A different rate will apply where the appointee is a civil or public servant recruited before the 6th April, 1995, and who is not required to make a Personal Pension Contribution.
Appointees will be chosen by competitive interview. A panel of suitable candidates may also be formed should any additional vacancies arise in the foreseeable future.
A full, clean driving licence is essential to the post of Education Guide.
