Themes

Each class can choose any one of the six themes below. Infant classes are advised to choose either Bugs or Mammals.

Format for the Day

• Usually two Education Guides visit the school.
• Typically, they could visit four classes within the day - one before little break, one after little break, and two after lunch.
• If your school is a long distance from us, it may only be possible to do three classes.
• Each session is limited to one class (c.30 children).
• Each session consists of an interactive question and answer slide show, followed by related activities (drama, debate, etc, depending on age).
• Please note, the teacher must remain with the class.

Practicalities

• This is a free service.
• Each school can only book one day (3 or 4 classes), due to the high demand.
• We can offer this service to schools in Co. Wicklow only.
• This service operates in the months of December, January, and February only.
